YMCA Camp Centre, Alwaye

About the YMCA Alwaye Campsite: The YMCA Alwaye Project is one of the pride projects of The National Council of YMCAs of India. It was initiated purely for organizes the camping and to be provided with its facilities for the camping groups, for youth & students by NCYI in the year 1959. The Camp Centre has now become a renowned Conference Centre in the State and widely used for the YMCA Activities and Programmes of other NGOs, religious organizations, political parties and other social service agencies. It is situated in an eco- friendly & greenery campus on the Bank of River Periyar at the vicinity of Aluva Town, the Camp Centre host excellent venue for camps and conference. It is located within 20 minutes journey from the commercial centre of Kochi and close to the National High Way 10 minutes travel from Cochin International Airport, also 5 minutes journey from the Aluva Railway station. The YMCA Camp Centre will have 2 acres of landscaped setting with ample thorough base facilities on the banks of the River Periyar at Aluva on the Aluva-Munnar Road. This Project have very familiarly with the YMCAs of the SWI Region, the reason behind is the Regional Head Quarters office is still functioning at this campus. The YMCA Camp Centre, Alwaye is the programme facility centre, people in and around of Kerala is looking for conducting their institutional & own programmes like Retreat, Conferences, Camps, Get-together, Trainings, Marriage & Birthday Receptions & Other activities. This Centre has good ambience with noble parking area and having facilities on multipurpose Conference Hall, A/C Meeting Hall, Dormitories, A/C & Non A/C Rooms, Training Hall, Hostel Rooms for working men & students with Canteen facilities, etc. Hence, it is an Ideal campsite for organizing Camping/ Training/ Meeting/ Conference/ Retreat/ Marriage Receptions & Birthday programmes apart from other Rooms & Hostel accommodation facilities.

✅ 32 Hostel Rooms for working men & students (bathroom attached & non attached)

✅ 300 seated multipurpose Conference Hall with dining hall and ample car parking facilities

✅ 50 seated mini A/C & Non A/C Hall (for conducting meeting, training & other purpose) with dining hall facilities

✅ Chapel for ecumenical worship & Inter Religious Dialogue
